No. We are private authorised marriage celebrants. The legal result is exactly the same as a Queensland Registry marriage, without the trip to Brisbane.
Book any package online at paperwork.net.au and pay the fee. Then prepare your NOIM, and we confirm your date, time, and place once the paperwork is in and availability is checked.
You prepare your Notice of Intended Marriage, have it witnessed by an authorised witness, and send it to us with your ID. Once the paperwork is checked and availability is known, we confirm the date, time, and place.
Yes. The elopement ceremony ($1,800) is a personal ceremony with your own vows for just the two of you or a few guests. The wedding ceremony ($2,200) is fully custom and led for all your guests.
Not really. It is a brief, legal, registry-style marriage of about ten minutes: the required words, your legal vows, and the signing.
Yes. In most cases the NOIM must be given at least one calendar month before the marriage date and no more than 18 months before it.

Yes. Australian law requires two witnesses aged 18 or over to be present and sign. Bring your own, or add our witness service for $130.
No. Some planning can be done remotely, but the marriage itself must happen in person with both parties, the celebrant, and two witnesses physically present.
Only if a prescribed authority approves a shortening of time, which requires a genuine reason and evidence. Most couples plan for at least five or six weeks.
No. You receive a ceremonial certificate on the day. The official certificate is ordered later through Queensland Births, Deaths and Marriages after registration, or we can order it for you for $70.
